On September 25, 2024, the Department of School Education (Pre-University) in Bangalore North, in collaboration with Widia Poorna Prajna Pre University College, organized an Economics Orientation Program. The event was led by the Chief Guest, Shri N. Raju, Deputy Director of the Department of School Education (Pre-University), Bangalore North District. The Guest of Honour was Shri G. V. Krishna, Joint Secretary of Widia Poorna Prajna Pre University College. Special invitees included Mr. Srikantaiah, Mr. P.A. Michael (Vice President, BNDPUCPA), and Mr. Praveen Kumar P.B. (Academic Director, Poorna Prajna Education Centre). The program was presided over by Mr. M.N. Umesh Kumar, Principal of Widia Poorna Prajna Pre University College. The faculty coordinators for the event were Dr. Harish N., Economics lecturer at Adarsh P.U. College, and Dr. Deepa A.V., Economics Lecturer. Approximately 200 lecturers from various colleges in the Bangalore North Zone attended the session. The central theme focused on an overview of PU board examinations, Bloom's Taxonomy, and the essentials of developing a balanced question paper along with blueprint. The session proved to be highly beneficial for the lecturers, equipping them to better guide their students in preparation for the upcoming examinations.
